A Wise County native, Kristen earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from UVA Wise. Prior to pursuing her Physician Assistant (PA) degree, she worked with our team as a Medical Assistant in 2019 and 2020.

 

She completed her PA training at Lincoln Memorial University (LMU), obtaining a Master of Medical Science in 2023. Following graduation, Kristen moved to Savannah, GA, where she gained valuable clinical experience in pulmonary medicine. In 2024, motivated to return closer to home as she prepared for her growing family, she relocated to Kingsport, TN, and joined GI Associates, contributing her skills in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

 

Dr. Autumn Starnes and I are delighted to welcome Kristen back to Cutting Edge Dermatology. We look forward to the expertise, professionalism, and compassionate care she will provide to our patients for all their dermatologic needs.
